What are Moomins?
Moomins are fairytales created by Swedish-Finn Tove Jansson. Moomins live in Moominvalley where criminality or cruelness don’t really exist. Moomins are loyal and always ready to help their friends.
Moomins are not hippoes, although they may look a bit similar.
There are 9 original moomin books filled with stories and illustrations but Moomins are also known from Japanese children’s TV-show called Moomin. Both books and the TV-series are sold and shown in many other countries. Moomins are especially famous in Finland and Japan.
Can I submit self-made Moomin art?
Yes! You can submit pretty much everything that’s Moomin related

When was this blog created?
FYMoomins was created October 2009 by my friend.
She gave it to me in autumn 2010 since she didn’t have time for keeping fymoomins up anymore.
